I have an original black and white one that is of two female dancers applying makeup in preparation for a performance.

Umm if its an original....a PROVEABLE original...then its priceless

If your in it for the mone try to sell it to a musuem or gallery.

If your in it for the love of photography donate it to a musuem or gallery(i would rather you do this)

If your in it for a conversation piece then have it framed in and airtight acid free frame away from the sun and in a constant climate/temp.

If so, then you know he is a man's man, yet his parents were both well known ballet dancers who taught him to dance ballet at a very early age. Well, some of them do. Others, though, become famous and successful, like Baryshnikov.
If they are of school age then unfortunatly there will be those who laugh. However this shouldn't put the person in question of as children are the cruelest creatures and in a few years their laughter will be meaningless.

Buy white shoes or light pink shoes and dye them. You can do it yourself, or you can take them to a dance shoe store and ask them to do it for you. You can find fabric dye at a supermarket in the laundry section, or in crafts store, or on the website below. They also have instructions on how to dye satin shoes.

if not and you actually want pointe shoes then you may have to get them specially made as i do not personally know of any shops however try specialist shops or ask your ballet teacher i am sure s/he will know if there are any in your area!!

pointe pumps....don't hurt yourself.lol you should not be on pointeshoes or even looking. pointe shoes are dyed colors for performances.

When I go onto my highest releve in ballet, my achillies tendon aches. Is this normal?

make sure when you stretch that you put extra time into the aches on your feet or you can get dull cramps in them when doing releves. this problem is fairly common because the foot does not bend that way on a normal basis. keep it stretched and keep it healthy. good luck!

maybe go easy on it. i have been dancing for a while, and sometimes you will get aches in your achilles while doing releves. i would just go for a lower releve so you have less aching. if it doesnt get better rap hot rags around your ankle to soothe. and if that doesnt work, go to a doctor.

I go to a small ballet school, and every once in a while some of our most advanced dancers go take classes at the Joffrey Ballet Company. I think that since they are a professional company, most of their classes would be master classes. If you plan on taking a master class, you should be very picky about your dancing and before you plan to go in there and take a class, because I've heard from my teacher that they won't pay much attention to dancers who don't follow very specific directions, etc. For example, if they tell you to do a step at the bar, without arms, and you're used to doing it with arms, get used to doing what they say and not using your arms. If it's ur first time going to a master class, it's okay to not feel as comfortable, you'll probably get more used to it if you go to more master classes.

I would recommend either nude, beige, or tan pantyhose, and I would recommend a brand/style like sheer vitality, which is both sheer and shiny. Hope this helps.

Nude is fine, but I think that any gold-toned pantyhose will just make the whole look overdone. Too much shiny!
