I can't figure out how to attach the elastic strap to my foot.

this is simple. u will notive that there is an elastic drawstring going around your foot, that is where i perfer to sew. now you want your two pieces of elastic to be near your angle. they should both be criss cross. also ive always heard if u fold the shoe over, where the crease is, is where u should show.
